Who we are
Hello, I’m Candi Gates, born and raised right here in the heart of Port Angeles. I married the love of my life, Doug, at 19, and together we’ve shared 27 unforgettable years. We’re proud parents of two wonderful grown daughters and are eagerly counting down the days until we welcome our first grandbaby.
My event planning journey kicked off with my own wedding long ago, and since then, I’ve been the go-to person for throwing unforgettable parties for friends and family. A defining moment came when I orchestrated a surprise birthday bash for two of my best friends. That night—packed with love, laughter, and glowing compliments on the fun and flawless look—lit a fire in me. I realized I had to turn this passion into a reality.
That’s how Left Coast Events and Rentals, LLC was born. Living in this breathtaking corner of the world inspires me every day—it’s why I stay and create unforgettable memories here.
